Easter Eggs

You will need:

Food colouring Red, blue, yellow

Hard cooked eggs with white shells

White vinegar

Use 3 small bowls with ½ cup hot water each and small spoonful of vinegar.
Let the children put a few drops of red into one, blue into another, and yellow into another. Dip the eggs into the bowls until they get the colour they want.

Let the child/ren mix part of the red dye with part of the yellow dye to make orange in another clean bowl.

Let the child/ren mix a very small part of the blue dye with all of the yellow dye to make green in another clean bowl.

Dip the eggs and then let them dry.

As a variation you could use a white crayon to write names or draw pictures before dyeing the eggs.
