Boiled egg
Sponge
Red (or other) food dye

Sponge the colour onto the egg. Let it dry.
Using coloured rice, glue it onto the egg. Allow to dry.

To make coloured rice:
Put white rice in a small jar with a drop or two of food colouring. Shake.
