<directions><p>Put the warm (not hot) water into a large bowl, then dissolve the sugar and yeast in it . When it has softened, add oil and salt. Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon until it becomes too difficult to manage. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured board and let it rest--absorbing more of the flour--while you clean out and oil the bowl. Knead the dough, working in additional flour as needed, until it is smooth and elastic (about 15 minutes).Let child/ren have a small piece of dough to knead. Return the dough to the bowl and cover with a damp towel. Leave it to rise in a warm place for about 1 1/2 hours until it has doubled in bulk. Let the children pinch the dough into thin little round pieces. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of salt. AN ADULT CAN FRY THESE ONE AT A TIME IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL - IN A WOK OR FRYPAN.</p></directions>
